Most internet search hits are still showing up with the Mandaluyong Post Office number which is +63 2 719 0716. This number is no longer operational. If you need to call them to validate postal notifications then the following number was provided by the PhilPost customer care: +63 2 8535 2131.
NOTE: The number is ringing and no longer responsive. The PhilPost site also removed the numbers in their web page. This is a disappointing turn of events. 🙁

[UPDATE 2016/09/19] Visitor Monica said the 535-2131 number is not working last July. I called the Mandaluyong Public Information Office and they confirmed that the post office still has that number. The number is ringing when I tried it but I didnt have the time to wait for somebody to pick it up. If the number remains non-functional then please try calling the main office using the numbers posted at https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/

I mailed a Prority Mail 10/29/15 thru United States Postal Service addressed to RCBC Mandaluyong, EDSA Central Square, but up until now, the mail has not been received. Please locate and verify and deliver to the addressee soonest. Thank you.

According to SSS,last MAY 26,2016 pa raw nila pinadala sa post office ng mandaluyong ang cheque loan ko..but until now di pa nkakarating sakin…JUNE 13 na po..bka naman po wait nyo pa magpalit ng administrasyon bago pa kayo maghatid ng mga dapat ihatid..WOW naman!! Pampa enrol sana ng anak ko yan!! Knock,knock!!

Sir Gerry, with all due respect nabasa nyo po ba yung part na hindi ako nagtatrabaho o konektado sa Post Office at public service ko lang po na ilagay itong numero na ito sa aking pribadong blog dahil nakuha ko lang din ito nung nagtatanong-tanong ako. Maari nyo po silang tawagan at mas mabuti po siguro kung medyo mas mahinahon kayo sa inyong pananalita dahil baka walang kinalaman sa pagkaantala ng inyong cheque. Sana nga po ay mabigyan linaw na iyan para sa kapakanan ng inyong anak at pamilya.

Hi po, tanong ko lang po dumating po kasi yung check namen para s loan sa sss kaya lang po hnd narecive kasi po wala yung taong nakapangalan dun, tpos po tinawag ko s sss main office sabi nila hindi pa dw po mababalik sa knila yun kasi po kailangan naka 3 times na hindi narecive saka lang ibabalik s knila.. paanu ko po kaya malalaman kung kelan ulit ipaparecive ng post office yun pra po sana maabangan ko po, hnd ko po matawagn yung hotline number ng post office na 535-2131. busy po palagi eh.. pakitulungan nmn po ako, thank you

Ang maipapayo ko lang po ay makipagugnayan kayo sa Postal office na nakakasakop sa inyong lugar. Kung sa Mandaluyong post office po kayo ay puntahan nyo sila doon sa Munisipyo (tapat ng Jollibee). Kung hindi pa po nila nadedeliver ay pwede nyo sila tanungin kung nakahold pa sa kanila,o kung kailan ulit susubukan ideliver ng kartero na naka-assign sa lugar ninyo.

Ask ko lang po meron po kc package na hinihintay ang Boss ko from France. Pinadala po ito nong July 18, paano ko po malalaman kung nadyan sa post office na. Kc until now wala parin po or sino ang dapat kung makausap regarding po sa package.

Hi Joy,
In my experience kailangan mo makuha yung tracking code na binigay sa nagpadala. Karamihan sa mga post office sa ibang bansa ay may tracking number unless dropped lang sa mga mailboxes. Kung personal na dinala yan sa post office ay kunin nyo yung tracking code na yun tapos tumawag kayo sa post office na nakakasakop sa inyo para mag-inquire. Ibigay nyo sa kanila yung tracking number na yun. Kapag wala yan ay pahirapan yung pagcheck dahil karamihan ng post office natin ay manual log books pa rin ang sistema.

Hi Bruce,
I am trying to remember my last notification card but can you check if there is any identifying address or contact number? The package claim window in the Mandaluyong CPO (within the city govt offices compound) is really Window 1 but the Pasig CPO has a separate customs area that only has one window.
You can try calling the number above since you have a notification serial number on the card. Unfortunately I haven’t had the time to validate if the above number is still working.

There is no address and contact number indicated. I have tried calling the number mentioned in this thread but to no avail.
All that’s indicated in the card is a Registry letter and a delivery number, no serial number.

Hi Bruce,
You can try going through the https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/ hotline for confirmation or at least to get any new landline that they may have. I browsed for Mandaluyong postal offices and in all likelihood it would be in the Gov. Maysilo circle office (https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/post-office-location.php) unless you are in the ADB/Ortigas area.

aka MDTB: Thanks for the vote of confidence and appreciation. May mga nacensor or nareject na rin ako pero hinahayaan ko na yung iba dahil sa tingin ko medyo may halong desperation na rin sa mga ineexpect nilang packages or mails.
The number is still working pero matagal na nga yung pickup. Baka na-spam na din sila ng ipost ko itong public service na ito. hehehe.

I dont work for any government office. The only assistance I can suggest is calling the postal office servicing your office address. Were you able to get an acceptance id of some sorts from SSS?
If it is a mailed-in cheque, I would be a bit paranoid and ask SSS to confirm na hindi pa naeencash. Sorry to add more to the situation pero I am pragmatic enough to consider na may mga di pa rin mapagkakatiwalaan sa lahat ng organisasyon.

Hi Dave,
Paano mo nalaman na nasa post office na? If alam mo yung tracking number you can call them to confirm (pero baka dumaan ka sa philpost main contact number kung hindi ka covered ng Mandaluyong CPO). Worse case scenario ay pwede ka na pumunta diretso since nasa iyo naman yung sender’s tracking number.
Ito yung worst case. Usually post offices only retain packages for 30 days tapos dinidispose na nila. Di ko sinasabi na ganon nangyari sa package mo pero yun ang incentive ko para kunin agad yung mga packages ko.

sa apps sir, ali express ako kasi umoorder parang lazada , tracking kasi nasa post office na daw po, dati umorder ako 6months bago napadala sakin ung papel para ma claim ko , pero na full refund ko na bago dumating sakin.

Sa AliExpress din ako nagpapaship dahil mas mura kaso dapat willing to wait. Yung 30 days storage only starts pag inilabas na yung notification. May case nga lang na tulad ng sa iyo na very delayed yung delivery ng notification.
Ang challenge lang ay wala sa. AliExpress dashboard yung tracking number. Once dumating sa Pilipinas yung shipment ay nakaflag na delivered na at di na considered yung Postal at Custom activities for assessment and routing. 🙁

Not necessarily. Currently meron din akong hinihintay na package from AliExpress sent 2 months ago. In this case directed ito sa Pasig Post Office. I checked my AliExpress account at merong nakalagay na tracking number. I called up the Pasig PO (642 4731) at binigay ko yung tracking number, pangalan at contact info ko. Hahanapin pa nila at iinform daw nila ako kung nandoon na. I suggest ganon na din ang gawin mo.

Dave, binigay ko lang na example yung current case ko. You need to do the same sa Mandaluyong Post Office. I use both Mandaluyong and Pasig PO depende sa work location assignments ko.

Miss Ellen, nabasa naman po ninyo na hindi ako affiliated sa postal office? I suggest going straight to the postal office to coordinate dahil kaperahan na po ito. You can also try calling the main office nila to try tracing the package. Last suggestion ko po, check with the SSS if the loan cheque is still unencashed. If it is baka pwedeng ipa-invalidate nyo na yung cheque and request an alternative way of getting your loaned amount.

Di yata pwede kasi ang workflow nila ay dumadaan sa customs or stotage at maaaring may babayaran pa. Kung ididiretso sa bahay ay walang garantiya na merong magbabayad sa aabutan o me panukli o kung ano pa mang mga kumplikasyon. Sa ibang courier kasi ay binabayaran na ng nagpadala yung mga ganon bilang bahagi ng kanilang “fees”.
Pero maaaring mali ako. Lahat ng packages ko ay laging onhold sa post office at kailangan ko pang puntahan. 🙁

nung sinabi ko sakanya sya pa galit,
Me: sir mali po ata ung sa tax ko hindi po ba $22 x 48.9
Customs : ah gusto mo pa mataas tax mo? (maangas na salita)
M: basta po kung ano lang po ung dapat,
babae : 48.7 lang un hindi 48.9 mali basa mo.

Salamat sa paalala Dave. May bagong pinirmahan ang Bureau of Customs na itinataas ang de mininis hanggang Php10k. Ang pagkakaintindi ko ay abswelto sa customs tax ang mga below ten thousand pesos. Ito yung order: https://www.officialgazette.gov.ph/2016/10/10/customs-administrative-order-no-02-s-2016/ o Customs Administrative Order No. 2, s. 2016.
Pwede mo i-quote yan sa susunod na package mo. Malamang yung storage at handling fee na lang ang babayaran.

I have a parcel containing documents coming from Australia. Per feedback of CMEC Pasay, who receives all the parcels from various international origin countries, they have dispatched to Mandaluyong post office on 22 Oct. 2016 yet, the envelope with tracking no. I provided . It is 3 Nov. now & the trunkline 5312131 keeps busy. What type of service is this? Definitely, a failure!

Tulad ng mga nakalagay sa main posting at sa mga comments, hindi ako empleyado o konektado sa Postal service. Personal na blog lang ho ito. Ang sagot na maibibigay ko ay kailangang puntahan mo yung postal office pero kailangan mo ng trace number mula sa nagpadala (SSS). Medyo madugo yata na kumuha ng ganyang impormasyon sa SSS.
Paunawa na dinelete ko na yung 2 naunang comment mo dahil pareho lang din naman yung nilalaman. Salamat.

Hindi ho ito blog ng Postal Office kaya hindi ko rin masasagot yung tanong ninyo. Pwede nyo sila tawagan o kung katulad ng nangyari sa misis ko, nagpunta ako sa postal office na nakakasakop sa amin (Pasig) at dun na mismo ako nagtanong. Yung SSS IDs kasi ay me sariling grupo at tracking sa post office kaya nakuha ko din nung araw na yun, medyo nagtagal lang ako ng mga isang oras dahil nagtrace pa sila kung sino yung assigned na kartero sa lugar namin.

wag po kayo maniniwala sa page na ito. hindi po talaga iyan ang telephone number ng mandaluyong post office. kung talagang government employee sila, hindi nila pwedeng sagutin ng “aba malay ko!” ang mga questions ng mamamayan at parang taong kanto lang kung sumagot. kumukuha lang po sila ng information para linlangin ang mga mamamayan.

Napangiti mo ako sa komento mo. Pero salamat sa impormasyon na me sumasagot na naman. Ang tanong ko lang ay kung nagpakilala ba silang sa Post office? Kung oo, pwede mo sila ireklamo sa https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/customer-care.php .
Saka inuulit ko na pribadong blog ito. Noong sa Mandaluyong ang opisina namin ay yan ang tinatawagan ko para icheck kung nandon na ang package ko. Lumipat na ako ng opisina kaya ibang post office na ang ginagamit ko (Pasig post office). Di ko pa naman kinakailangang tawagan sila dahil nadadaanan ko na ang opisina nila di tulad ng sa Mandaluyong na kailangan ko pang sadyain. Pero tama ka na dapat maging mapanuri. Konting praktis pa mangyari lamang na pakibawasan ang kape. 😉
